...and no I did not find out the hard way.

but this would have been my face if I did: ronburgundy-that-was-unexptected.jpg

LOL, I do believe I will be buying my copy through legal means... I want Rockstar to keep releasing it for PC, I know they are hesitant of the platform.

Install it on a VM. I need to know what 18 GB of malware looks like.

Heh, reminds me of that old story about someone ordering a PS3 off ebay months before launch and getting a box of forks.

Same. Don't worry, they should—PC is usually late. Hopefully R* aren't lazy asses and take out the damned console bloatware this time around. Here's a petition to sign if you haven't; 600K signatures and climbing.

haha didn't the ad just say something misleading like "PS3 Box" people probably assumed it was PS3 in box, as in new in box, never opened. But they just got a fucking box full of forks, hahaha.

I believe their delay of the release also has to do with the shutdown of windows live games. As GTA 4 ran on that platform, they may be partially held up by it. Although the same Rockstar Online that the consoles use should be easy to put in its place.

But who cares. Rockstar is rolling in the dough so they could care less as of now. I was going to wait, but got it on the 360. And boy is it worth it.

haha ok, I think I can hold out, it's hard though. But $60 is better than 60+200 (xbox+gta5 and xbox live).

Scratch that idea then lol. I'm going to get it on the PC when it comes out more than likely anyways. I'm hoping Rockstar will incorporate some type of open modding to where, for instance, you and I can install mods to add an SHO and an ST to the game but still be able to play online and use them.

You could mod GTA 4, but then it messed up the online play.

yeah, I remember that from one of the earlier GTA's, had to give up all my mods to play online.
